Jacobs Creek Job Corps Center Wastewater Hauling Task Order One (1) SOW

Introduction The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, and transportation to pump and haul excess influent to prevent overflow from the Jacobs Creek wastewater treatment plant, hauling in seeding material, and/or sludge pumping.

Period of Performance This task order is anticipated to include hauling needs from December 3, 2024 through December 2, 2025.

Background The wastewater treatment plant is a Titan Membrane Filtration plant. In a typical year, sludge must be periodically removed. During heavy rain events or when the membranes are undergoing routine cleaning, excess influent must be pumped and hauled to a municipal plant. Additionally, municipal waste may need to be hauled into the plant to provide seeding to allow the plant to operate more efficiently.

When the plant is operating normally, it is anticipated that the hauling volume will be average 10,000 gallons per month. In the event the plant is taken out of operation for maintenance or repair, daily hauling of sewage will be required.
