Summary: Statement of Work – 19th ASOS Human Performance Facility Fans
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the procurement and complete installation of two high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) commercial-grade overhead ceiling fans at Fort Campbell, Kentucky for the 19th Air and Space Operations Squadron (ASOS) Human Performance Facility. The contract is classified as a Commodity with Installation, effective 7 July 2025. The contractor must deliver and install both 14-foot diameter fans configured for 200-240V, single-phase electrical power at building 71460, Market Garden, Fort Campbell, KY. Each fan system must deliver a cooling effect of at least 12 degrees Fahrenheit while maintaining energy efficiency and providing dual-season utility through summer cooling and winter heat destratification.
The contractor is responsible for a complete turnkey installation including all freight, mechanical mounting, custom wall penetrations, electrical integration into the facility's Fire Relay panel, specialized controller kits, remote operations controllers with variable speed selectors, and an advanced multi-fan control kit for managing both units. The contractor must source all hoisting equipment and verify exact drop tube lengths and structural mounting methods prior to installation. All materials must be on-site before work commences; all debris must be removed from the facility upon completion. Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, coordinated with the 19th ASOS Project Lead. The contractor must provide a minimum one-year warranty on all installation work and transfer all manufacturer equipment warranties (motor, blades, hub, controllers) to the Government. Contractor personnel must be U.S. citizens fluent in English, comply with installation access and security requirements, and act as guests on the military installation.

STATEMENT OF WORK
7 JULY 2025
1. Description of Work: Contractor shall deliver and install two (2) Human Performance
Facility Fans, to 71460 Market Garden, Fort Campbell, KY.
A. The 19th ASOS requires the procurement and complete installation of two (2) high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) commercial-grade overhead ceiling fans for a human performance gym facility. The systems must provide year-round environmental mitigation, delivering significant cooling effects during high-heat months and efficient heat destratification during winter. The selected contractor is responsible for a complete, turnkey installation—including all mechanical mounting, custom wall penetrations, and electrical integration into the facility's Fire Relay panel— with all freight, necessary components, and specialized controller kits fully included in the quoted price.
Performance & System Characteristics:
• Massive Airflow Performance: Fans must move large volumes of air to create a cooling effect of no less than 12 degrees Fahrenheit while maintaining high energy efficiency to cut down on heat and humidity.
• Dimensional & Electrical Specifications: Includes two (2) 14-foot diameter fans configured for 200-240V, Single-Phase (1PH) electrical power.
• Dual-Season Utility: Engineered to provide a robust cooling draft during summer and reverse destratification to push trapped warm air down from the ceiling during winter.
• Integrated Controls: Each fan must feature a remote operations controller with a variable speed selector. The package must also include an advanced multi-fan control kit capable of managing at least two (2) units.
• Standard Industrial Mounting: Must include a standard industrial mounting kit rated for 14-foot fans, featuring a 5" to 9 7/8" Beam Mount and a 5-foot extension drop tube.
Installation & Logistic Requirements
• All-Inclusive Freight: All shipping and freight charges must be fully factored into the vendor's quoted price.
• Contractor Field Verification: The installation contractor is solely responsible for verifying the exact drop tube length and the structural mounting method prior to installation.
• Turnkey Mechanical & Electrical Setup: Installation requires physical mounting of both units and complete electrical wiring tied directly into the facility's Fire Relay panel for emergency shutoff compliance.
• Government Equipment Limitations: The government will not provide a scissor lift or other hoisting equipment; the contractor must source all necessary lifts and tools.
• Installation Adders (Custom Work): Pricing must account for custom mechanical installation, including per-wall industrial overhead fan wall penetrations (running the electrical wiring from the fans, across the building through the vertical walls to reach the electrical and fire control panels at the other side of the building).
