About this file
This is a Statement of Work for removing an old KVH HD11 system and installing an upgraded SEATEL system on the USS GRAVELY (DDG-107). The work involves removing the existing antenna system from the AFT missile deck to AFT IC equipment rack and installing a new Sailor 100 XTR TVHD antenna system with all associated wiring and connectors, followed by operational testing.
The SOW details specific hardware requirements including a Sailor 100 cm TVRO antenna Ku/Ka, various cables (LMR-400-75, RG-59 Mini in multiple colors), connectors, splitters, and mounting hardware. Cable installation will run from the portside aft missile deck through the PORT HELO HANGAR, down the starboard bulkhead, through multiple decks and stuffing tubes to reach the AFT IC. The contractor is responsible for disposing of old materials, providing necessary tools, opening/closing stuffing tubes and hatches, and coordinating the work schedule to avoid interference with ship operations. The installation requires one person for antenna installation (1 day) and one person for below deck setup/wiring.
