STATEMENT OF WORK
Elastic Search Training
AT CANNON AFB, NEW MEXICO
17 August 2020
1. DESCRIPTON OF SERVICES. The vendor shall provide all material, tools, equipment and qualified labor necessary to train the Mission Defense Team members on real world applications and capabilities of the Elasticsearch software.
1.1. The purpose of the Elasticsearch training course will be to learn advanced information on the administration, maintenance, and to be able to use the Elasticsearch software to its full capabilities. It will provide the Mission Defense Team with the knowledge needed to be able to fully virtualize the Cyber Vulnerability Assessment/Hunter toolkit to be able to better defend the base in the Cyber realm. The Cyber Vulnerability Assessment/Hunter toolkit consists of 4 different trainings that include Elastic Engineering 1, Elastic Engineering 2, Elastic Data Admin, and Elastic Kibana Operator.
2. SPECIFIC TASKS.
2.1. The vendor will be responsible for conducting a live virtual training seminar for a minimum of 8 days for 10 individuals and teach them advanced information on the Elasticsearch product to be able to correctly and efficiently administer and maintain the Cyber Vulnerability Assessment/Hunter (CVA/H) toolkit to better defend the base in the Cyber realm.
2.2. The vendor is expected to teach the individuals that are taking the course how to install, setup, and get Elasticsearch running from scratch
2.3. The vendor is expected to teach the individuals that are taking the course how to tailor Elasticsearch configurations to meet the needs of the CVA/H toolkit.
2.4 The vendor is expected to teach the individuals that are taking the course how to identify, navigate, and reconfigure Elasticsearch configuration files and settings.
2.5 The vendor is expected to teach the individuals that are taking the course how to configure component templates within Elasticsearch.
2.6. The vendor is expected to teach the individuals that are taking the course how to configure index templates within Elasticsearch.
2.7. The vendor is expected to teach the individuals that are taking the course the fundamentals of indices, documents, types, mapping, shards, and replicas within Elasticsearch.
2.8 The vendor is expected to teach the individuals that are taking the course how to query data within Elasticsearch.
2.9. The vendor is expected to teach the individuals that are taking the course how to understand the interworking of Elasticsearch to be able to correctly and efficiently manage and analyze the CVA/H toolkit.
