The 502d Security Forces Group must purchase two DroneShield Immediate Response Kits (IRK) in compliance with DAFMAN 31-102, Paragraph 1.2.8.1. The product has been tested and approved for purchase by AETC and AF/JAOI, Air and International Law Division.
The contractor must deliver two DroneShield Immediate Response Kits (DroneGun MK4A with RFPATROL MK2 WIDEBAND), three Magnetic Antenna Kits Wideband (MAK WB), and two days of certified instructor training. All products and equipment must be delivered to JBSA-Randolph, Texas, with training potentially conducted at a separate JBSA location to be coordinated after delivery. The contractor is responsible for installation, integration, and training of the security forces group. All products must be free from defects in materials and workmanship and include standard product warranty. The equipment selection is based on requirements for passive RF detection, mobile capability, ease of use, and sufficient detection range to cover the vast areas of JBSA properties.
