About this file
This document outlines a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan for medical courier services required by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 7. The contractor must demonstrate the ability to immediately remedy any violations and respond to emergency STAT requests within specified timeframes. Performance will be evaluated on factors such as contractor and service response times, equipment uptime, timely submission of accurate logs and reports, timeliness and accuracy of deliveries, and completion of required training by drivers on biohazard handling, infectious disease procedures, and privacy protocols. Acceptable quality levels and corrective action requirements are defined for each performance metric to be monitored on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
