About this file
This document is a Market Research Survey for a potential Fresh Milk and Dairy Products contract for Department of Defense (DoD) Troop customers in the Colorado Zones. The survey seeks vendor feedback on a proposed solicitation with a 12-month estimated performance period of $114,220.94, with maximum contract estimates ranging from $1,027,988.46 for a 3-year contract to $2,569,971.15 for a 5-year contract. The government is conducting market research to understand vendor capabilities, interest, and potential barriers to participation, with specific questions about service delivery, subcontracting opportunities, small business involvement, and contract feasibility.
The survey requests detailed vendor information including company size, registration status, federal contracting experience, and ability to service all customers in the Colorado Zone. Key areas of inquiry include minimum delivery requirements, manufacturing capabilities, SAM.gov and PACA license registration, potential subcontracting needs, and strategies to promote small business participation. Vendors are asked to provide comprehensive feedback by July 31, 2025 at 3:00 PM EST, with responses to be emailed to Jonathan Magerman and Amanda Quaile from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Subsistence Program.
