About this file

This document is an All Purpose Checklist for a Laundry Inspection, designed to ensure compliance with health and safety standards for laundry facilities. The checklist covers three main sections: Personnel, Sanitary Facilities, and Soiled Linen Process, with specific criteria aligned to guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Air Force Instructions (AFI), and OSHA standards. Key inspection areas include personnel health and training, facility sanitation, proper handling of soiled and clean linens, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to infection control protocols. The document provides a comprehensive framework for evaluating laundry operations, with checkboxes for marking compliance status (Satisfactory, Unsatisfactory, or Not Applicable) and space for detailed comments and signatures from the Person in Charge, Public Health, and Infection Control representatives.
