Summary: Register of Wage Determinations Under the Service Contract Act
This document is a Register of Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division, applicable to federal service contracts in Ohio counties (Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina). The wage determination (No. 2015-4727, Revision 29, effective 5/13/2026) establishes mandatory minimum wage rates and fringe benefits for all service employees performing work under federal contracts subject to the Service Contract Act.
The determination covers over 200 occupation classifications spanning administrative support, automotive services, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information and arts, information technology, instructional services, laundry and dry cleaning, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, and technical occupations. Wage rates range from $12.17 to $49.05 per hour depending on occupation level and specialty. All employees must receive fringe benefits including health and welfare coverage ($5.55 per hour or $222 weekly; $5.09 hourly or $203.60 weekly for EO 13786-covered contracts), vacation accrual (2-4 weeks based on tenure), eleven paid holidays annually, and various differentials for night shifts, Sunday work, and hazardous duty conditions. Uniform allowance provisions and detailed job classification conformance procedures are included, requiring contractors to submit SF-1444 forms when unlisted classifications or wage modifications are needed.
