About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act, issued by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division. The wage determination number is 2015-4281, Revision 35, effective December 3, 2025, and applies to contracts in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, including specific counties and cities within those states.

The document establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for over 200 occupation classifications across multiple service categories, including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional services, laundry and dry cleaning, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, technical occupations, and transportation. Wage rates range from $15.11 per hour for nursing assistants to $60.66 per hour for flight instructors and maintenance test pilots. All occupations receive fringe benefits including health and welfare contributions of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly or $222.00 per week/$962.00 per month), vacation accrual after one year of service (two weeks annually, increasing to three weeks after five years and four weeks after fifteen years), and a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Special provisions apply to computer employees, air traffic controllers, and weather observers regarding exemptions and night/Sunday pay differentials. Hazardous pay differentials of 4 percent to 8 percent apply to designated positions. Uniform costs cannot be charged to employees unless specific conditions are met, with reimbursement capped at $3.35 per week for cleaning and maintenance in applicable cases. The wage determination follows the Service Contract Act Directory of Occupations standards, and contractors may request conformance determinations for unlisted job classifications using Standard Form 1444.
