About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details fiber optic cable and electrical installation services for three CCTV camera locations at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. The project involves installing network cameras at unmonitored approach areas to enhance anti-terrorism efforts, with specific requirements for each location (Prison Camp, Golf Course, and 400 Housing Area). Technical specifications include directional boring for conduit installation, fiber optic cable and tracer wire deployment, weatherproof enclosures, pole mounting, splice cassettes, and camera installations.
Key technical requirements include installing 12-strand single-mode fiber optic cables (ranging from 1,300-1,600 feet per location), 2-inch HDPE/PVC pipes, L-Com weatherproof enclosures, and outdoor IP panoramic 270-degree cameras meeting NDAA and TAA compliance standards. The cameras must integrate with the existing Pelco Video Xpert System, be mounted at least 10 feet above ground, and have specifications including 12-megapixel resolution, day/night capabilities, and no licensing requirements. Electrical work involves installing dedicated 120V circuits, conduits, wiring, and receptacles at each camera location, with all installations to be performed by certified electricians and subject to base electrical inspector verification.
