Statement of Work For

Opportunity FA460825QS038 ServiceRequest 4879229

Remove & Replace Exterior Roll up Door for Bldg. 6227

Background Remove and replace an existing roll up door with suitable replacement that meets all fire and safety codes.

Scope of Work The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts and labor necessary to accomplish the task of removing existing hangar door and installation of new door, while utilizing existing new motor operator. *This job will require a Lift/Man Lift equipment.

Service Delivery

1. This requirement will consist of the:

a. Remove and disposal of existing rolling steel door

b. Reuse existing new motor operator.

c. Install new rolling steel door

2. Rolling Door Salient Characteristics

a. Rolling steel door approximately 30’X20’-2”

b. Single Guide Weathering

c. Lintel Z Brush Seals

d. Right Hand Drive

e. Front of Hood Mounting Motor Bracket

3. Motor Operator System

a. LiftMaster Logic 5.0

4. Upon completion of this entire repair, all applicable construction and area debris shall be removed/cleaned.

5. Code Compliance:

a. Where applicable, all work performed under this contract shall meet all federal and local codes and standards including but not limited to NFPA, Uniform Building Code, MIL-HDBK-1190, Facility Planning and Design Guide, Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, Air Force Technical Letters (ETLs), Southern Standard Building Code, National Electric Code, ASHRAE Standards, SMACNA Standards, National Plumbing Code, etc. Where any ambiguity exists between standards, the most stringent shall apply.

b. Any work performed by the contractor that, in the opinion of the Government Technical Representative, does not comply with the manufacturer’s installation/performance instructions or does not meet industry standards, shall be removed and replaced by the contractor at no additional cost to the government.

6. General Notes:

a. This door is on the flight line roadside of the facility. Contractor must be escorted for the duration of work.

7. Hazardous material The Statement of Work does not require the contractor to deliver, store, use, or handle hazardous material at this government activity.

8. Recommend Contractor to come for a site visit prior to contract installation for sizing before order to provide the correct closure of the space.
