Specifications Project: Two Autoclaves
1.0 Scope:
Provide autoclaves with the minimum technical requirements/capabilities outline in 2.0.
2.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:
Minimum Requirements:
• Shall have minimum dimensions of 20”x20”x38”
• Shall have a thermal printer
• Shall have a Hi-Vacuum system with Water Ejector
• Shall have an automatic jacket blowdown
• Shall have a minimum of 2 shelves
• Shall have an emergency stop button
• Shall have EcoCalendar & Auto idle shut off capability
• Shall have a hinged fully opening manual door.
3.0 Place of Delivery:
Deliver to the USDA Cereal Crops Research Unit located at 502 Walnut Street, Madison, WI 53726. A loading dock is available as well as double doors to our headhouse where one of the autoclaves is located. There are no stairs as it is a single story building. The old autoclave(s) will need to be moved in order to install the new autoclaves.
