About this file
This is a project specifications document for the Zuni-Ramah Emergency Power Supply System replacement project at the Zuni Comprehensive Health Center in Zuni, New Mexico. The document outlines detailed technical specifications across multiple construction divisions including general requirements, existing conditions, concrete, metals, wood/plastics/composites, thermal/moisture protection, finishes, and mechanical/electrical systems.
The specifications detail the scope and requirements for removing the existing emergency generator and installing a new one within the existing mechanical yard southwest of the building. Key requirements include coordination with occupants during construction, maintaining building operations, quality control procedures, construction progress documentation, photographic documentation requirements, and submittal procedures. The document provides extensive technical specifications for the diesel-engine generator sets, transfer switches, electrical systems, and supporting infrastructure. Special attention is given to testing/inspection requirements, coordination with existing utilities, and proper documentation of all work phases. The specifications are structured in the standard Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) format with detailed requirements for materials, execution, and quality assurance across all relevant construction disciplines.
