About this file
This is a questions and answers (Q&A) document containing 26 technical questions and responses related to the Zuni-Ramah Emergency Power Supply System (EPSS) Replacement project at the Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center. The questions primarily focus on electrical specifications, including panel schedules, power risers, generator requirements, and equipment installation details.
Key technical specifications revealed in the responses include: the generator must be capable of 96 hours continuous operation, the existing fuel tank capacity is 5,000 gallons, power outages are limited to 1 hour maximum for main power, and work is preferred after hours or on weekends. The contractor is responsible for equipment disposal, RMCE will provide arc flash labels for contractor installation, and lightning protection systems must be recertified. Questions were due by 1/7/2025, with project proposals due by 1/17/2025 at 2:00 PM Pacific Time. The document includes references to amendments 2 & 3 for as-built drawings and existing electrical plans that can be obtained from the COR.
