About this file
These are technical specifications for a waterline repair project at the Hapgood Pond Campground in the Green Mountain National Forest. The project scope includes replacing two 1½" shut-off valves and two curb stops on the water main. The specifications detail requirements for pipe materials (polyethylene and polyvinyl), valves, and installation procedures, with emphasis on compliance with AWWA, ASTM, and NSF standards. Key installation requirements include working Monday through Friday, maintaining site access for government operations, and ensuring proper valve placement and functionality. Contractors must provide personal protective equipment, carefully handle materials, and perform final testing in the presence of the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
