About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for maintenance and certification services of an effluent decontamination system (EDS) located in Building 374 at the NEA Foreign Disease Weed Science Research Unit (FDWSRU) Containment Facility.
The SOW comprises two primary service requirements. First, an annual inspection and certification of the EDS system must be performed, which includes testing of system components (valves, instrumentation, and calibration), inspection of all utilities required for system operation (steam, water, and air), temperature and pressure checks, and monitoring of overall system performance to enable early diagnosis of potential problems. Second, condensate filter cartridges must be replaced on an as-needed basis, with each existing filter tested individually for integrity using the water intrusion method. Any filters failing the integrity test must be replaced, and all new filters must be retested before installation. No specific contract vehicle, response date, award date, pricing terms, or set-asides are identified in this SOW document.
