About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the USDA Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations requirements for upfitting 6 Chevrolet Tahoe patrol vehicles in Region 13 Zone 8. The SOW specifies comprehensive vehicle modification requirements including installation of law enforcement-specific equipment such as light bars, sirens, emergency lighting, prisoner transport cages, communications equipment, and specialized mounting systems for tablets, radios, and other technology. Each vehicle, with unique VIN numbers, will be located at different Forest Service locations across Arkansas, Florida, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Georgia.
The contractor must perform vehicle pick-up and delivery, with a 60-day completion timeline after receiving the vehicles. Required equipment includes SoundOff emergency lighting, nERGY control sirens, power distribution centers, tail-lamp LED flashers, grille guards, specialized consoles, cellular boosters, gun racks, window tinting, suspension leveling kits, Axon Fleet 3 camera systems, and specific mounting systems for Dell rugged tablets and associated peripherals. The SOW emphasizes uniformity of installation, protection of government property, and strict security requirements during the upfitting process.
