All line items will be inspected __________________ (inspection interval) by ____________________ (Designated Inspector) unless a specific problem or concern arises and those items will get immediate attention. The designator inspector will complete inspection forms documenting his findings during the course of inspection.

Spot Surface Repair, Aggregate Surfaced Roads – inspection will include but is not limited to the following items: potholes, washboards, cross slope, rocks, unsuitable material, proper placement procedure, compaction, surface material specifications, etc.

Any line items found to have conditions that are outside of the Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) will result in corrective actions to re work those road sections until conditions are found to be within the AQL.

2. Methods

The frequency of the Inspection System above and making sure that all items in the Performance Requirement Summary (PRS) are met at the time of inspection will prevent any defects in the quality of service performed and will keep the level of performance from dropping below what is acceptable.

3. Records

A copy of all inspections shall remain on site along with all documentation of corrective actions taken. A copy of these inspections will be turned into the Project Inspector or COTR along with the Daily Accomplishments Report for signatures and pay request.
