About this file
This document is a Requirement Description with Salient Characteristics for Portable Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS).
The requirement specifies a rapidly deployable counter-UAS system designed for mobile, dismounted, and fixed missions that provides full-time protection across multiple frequency bands in harsh environmental conditions without requiring calibration, recurring maintenance, or software licensing. The system must be fully integrated with C2 platforms and include operator control, activity log review, and system update capabilities with a 3-year warranty that encompasses advanced operator training and quarterly software updates. The system must accommodate specific size and weight constraints (not exceeding 35 lbs; dimensions not to exceed 13" x 8.5" x 19") to enable portability via tripod mounts, vehicles, and personnel loadout packs.
Technical specifications include coverage of 433/868/915 MHz and 1.2/2.4/5.2/5.8GHz frequencies with configurable 400 MHz-6 GHz RX channels, detection range exceeding 3 kilometers with horizontal radius and drone ID/telemetry demodulation capabilities, defeat range exceeding 550 Watts, and variable RF output across E1/L1, E5/L5, L2, and L6 bands. The system must achieve long-range passive detection and identification with 100% passive receiver capability, operate within a temperature range of -20°C to 50°C, meet IP66/IEC 60529 ingress protection standards, and comply with MIL-STD-810 environmental testing protocols. Additional requirements include GNSS denial coverage, deployment in under 5 minutes, RJ45 Ethernet connectivity, 85-305VAC/36VDC power compatibility, eMASS/DIACAP security accreditation, and full API/ICD integration for external system interoperability. The deliverable includes pole mount kit with 10-meter network cable, tripod, mounts, power supply mounts, hard case, wire kit, and Skyview MVP3 equipment with 3-year hardware warranty and software license.
