About this file
This file is a Salient Characteristics document for a Full Spectrum Camouflage federal contract opportunity from the U.S. Air Force. The solicitation requires multiple camouflage equipment types with advanced multi-spectral protection capabilities, including Ultra-lightweight Camouflage Net Systems, Sniper/Observer/Recon ponchos, and Personal Camouflage suits. The equipment specifications mandate full spectrum protection ranging from UV (0.2 μM) to Thermal Infrared (TIR) and Radar (2-96GHz), with specific requirements including reversible desert/woodland patterns, fire retardant/water repellent materials, and lightweight construction (under 3-5 lbs). Each item must provide visual, Near IR, Shortwave IR, thermal, and radar signature concealment, with camouflage patterns equivalent to those used by U.S. Special Operations Forces. The contract includes multiple Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) covering 24 units of net systems, 10 units of ponchos, and 20 units of personal camouflage suits, with additional option line items for similar quantities.
