About this file
The document is a Salient Characteristics specification for a Full Spectrum Camouflage procurement by the U.S. Air Force. The solicitation (FA568225Q2010) seeks multiple camouflage equipment items providing comprehensive electromagnetic spectrum protection from UV (0.2 μM) to Radar (2-96GHz), designed to conceal personnel and equipment during military operations.
The procurement includes three primary Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) with multiple sub-CLINs: 1) Ultra-lightweight Camouflage Net System (24/12 units), 2) Sniper/Observer/Recon poncho (10/5 units), and 3) Personal Camouflage suit (20/10 units). Each item is reversible (desert/lightwood), lightweight (under 5 lbs), fire retardant, water repellent, and provides multi-spectral signature concealment across visual, Near IR, Shortwave IR, thermal, and radar spectrums. All items require camouflage patterns equivalent to U.S. Special Operations Forces, with vendors requested to submit pattern samples for evaluation criteria.
