Up to 60 Month Lease – 132 MFDs in Germany

1. Respond to work stoppage situations in 2hrs (PWS 4.3)

Question: 2hr response time cannot be guaranteed in remote locations as it can take technicians 2.5hrs to arrive at copier location. Can the response time be adjusted?

Answer: PWS has been revised changing the work stoppage hours from 2 to 4 and non‐work stoppage hours from 4 to 8 response time.

Question: The devices used in Europe are not able to be used inside CONUS (Reason is Power

Supply and consumables). How will the test be done?

Answer: DLA normally gets the same device but with 110 voltage and test it. DLA has occasionally tested devices remotely but if the same device in 110 voltage can be obtained, that is what DLA tests in the lab.

3. Question: Will there be a reverse auction during the process?

Answer: No, there will not be a reverse auction.

Common Access card reader?

Answer: The CAC readers are not required

5. In "Attachment 2 ‐ Delivery Schedule" in the "CAC Reader Required" column it is stated that for all device the CAC reader is not required, whereas, in the "Attachment 2 Performance Work

Statement (PWS)" it is stated that CAC is required. Please confirm which statement we should take into account when proposing.

Response: The CAC reader is not required

6. Question: What will happen if the client exceed the estimated maximum volume in a certain month? Is there a way of recharging the cost of the supplies and consumables used to print these extra prints or the supplier will cover that with no recharging by the client?

Answer: The vendor would not be able to charge overages for devices where usage has exceeded the volume band limits. Other measures would need to be taken to control the situation such as adding another device to the location or ordering a device of a higher volume band.

7. Question: Is there a Common Criteria certification needed for the devices?

Answer: Yes, the devices do need to be common criteria certified.
