About this file

This document is an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Acquisition Review Form required for all Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) requisitions over $3,000.

The form is for a Safety Shoe Contract Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide BEP personnel with comfortable, quality safety footwear. The contract will be a full and open competition under NAICS code 316210 (Footwear Manufacturing) with an estimated value of $250,000. The contractor will make a variety of shoes and boots available for employees to try on and select, and provide a shoe truck/trailer to the site every other month. The government anticipates awarding multiple firm-fixed-price BPAs with a 5-year ordering period. The EHS review found no environmental or safety concerns with the contract requirements. Quotes are due by August 5, 2024.
