UC-12F/M with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21
Avionics Suite Modification Configuration
General Description: The Navy UC-12F/M is a military version of the
Beechcraft B200 KingAir. It is an all–metal, low-wing, twin turbo prop, T-tail monoplane with an axial flow engine mounted on each wing. Fully pressurized, FAA certified aircraft capable of carrying up to 10 people
(crew included) and/or cargo up to the maximum airframe weight of 13,500 lbs. (restricted).
Cockpit Instrumentation: The cockpit of both the UC-12F and UC-12M have been modified with the three display Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite. The cockpit display should be designed to closely represent the actual setup. Depictions of cockpit layout can be found at the end of this document.
Engines: PT6A-42 has a three-stage axial, single stage reaction turbine.
The power turbine two-stage reaction turbine counter-rotating with the compressor turbine driving the output shaft.
Engine instruments: ITT, Torque,N1, Propeller Tachometers, Fuel Flow, Oil pressure/Oil Temperature indicators are all displayed by the center mounted Pro Line 21 MFD.
Electrical system: The aircraft employs 28 Vdc power supplied by a
24−volt, 42 ampere (amp) hour valve regulated sealed lead battery mounted in the right wing center section and two 250−amp starter/generators connected in parallel. The generator buses are interconnected by two current limiters. The entire electrical system operates as a single bus, with power being supplied by the battery and both generators. Four dual−fed buses distribute electrical power supplied from either generator main bus through circuit breakers with a diode.
