About this file
This is a Cleaning Checklist attachment for State Contract 0000000546SL, outlining daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual janitorial and facility maintenance requirements. The scope of work encompasses comprehensive cleaning services for state agency facilities, including trash removal and disposal, glass surface cleaning, floor maintenance across multiple surface types, restroom sanitation, kitchen and breakroom cleaning, elevator maintenance, and miscellaneous tasks such as cobweb removal, drinking fountain sanitization, and damage reporting. Daily requirements include emptying waste containers, cleaning entrance and exit doors, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, restocking restroom supplies, and completing sign-in/out sheets. Weekly responsibilities expand to include thorough washing of wastebaskets, perimeter debris removal, air diffuser cleaning, and disinfection of door hardware and light switches throughout the facility. Monthly tasks require machine scrubbing of vinyl composite tile and stone floors with high-speed buffing, comprehensive glass surface cleaning, restroom wall sanitization, light fixture cleaning, blind dusting, and baseboard maintenance. Semi-annual requirements include deep carpet cleaning and floor refinishing with either five coats or two coats of skid-proof wax, depending on direction from the state agency.
The checklist does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, contract term lengths, or renewal options, as it functions as a performance standard document rather than a bid solicitation. The document establishes quality and frequency benchmarks for janitorial services and emphasizes compliance with state agency directives regarding special weather conditions, such as inclement weather protocols for carpet extraction and exterior plaza maintenance. The contractor is required to maintain detailed daily logs, report all facility damage, secure doors as instructed, and execute all tasks to the satisfaction of the state agency, indicating a performance-based contract structure with ongoing oversight and quality assurance measures.
