About this file

This document is Attachment 2 to a federal contract solicitation, containing a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) comprised of multiple DD Form 1423s that specify data submission requirements for the contractor.

The CDRL establishes six primary data requirements, all directed to the Department of the Army at Watervliet Arsenal (TAWV-CQD-E), Bldg. 35-E, Watervliet NY 12189-4000. The first requirement mandates submission of Test/Inspection Reports documenting inspection records for production components (CN12) with authority DI-NDTI-80809B, submitted with each shipment with one final copy required. The second requires Certification/Data Reports for Certificate of Conformance (COC) for nondestructive testing applications (CN 9) per authority DI-MISC-80678, including detailed technique sheets specifying magnetizing current methods, amperages, part sketches, gauss reading locations, and inspection medium types. The third requirement calls for Test/Inspection Reports for First Article Samples using WVA Form 702-61-R-E and DD Form 1222, submitted once upon first article delivery per DI-NDTI-80809B. The fourth requires Chemical and Physical Properties Analysis Reports for major forgings/castings (CN1) submitted as SMCWV Form 1155 with each shipment per authority DI-FORG-81196. The fifth mandates Test Procedures for Magnetic Particle Inspection (CN 23) per DI-NDTI-80603 and ASTM-E1444, requiring written procedures submitted with first article or no later than 30 days prior to first production shipment, allowing 15 days for government review and approval. All data items carry Distribution Statement B (Test and Evaluation), with no DD250 forms required except as specified in the first article requirement. The forms were prepared by J. Cannon and approved by William Potter, TAWV-CQD-E, on March 3, 2025.
