About this file

This document is an appendix containing the acquisition schedule for the AN/BQQ-10 A-RCI (Advanced Rapid Commercial off-the-shelf Insertion) Tactical Integration/Aboard Procurement Build program. The anticipated period of performance for the TSMS (Tactical Sonar Module System) procurement spans from September 30, 2027, through September 30, 2035. The schedule encompasses three separate Tactical Integration (TI) increments: TI-28, TI-next, and a second TI-next increment, each following a phased approach of Define, Design & Validation, Develop & Test, Manufacture & Build, Support, and Installs phases distributed across fiscal years 2027 through 2035.

The document notes that TI-28 will share common infrastructure and shipboard integrated baselines with TI-26, and a subsequent increment (TI-32) will share the same infrastructure and baselines with TI-30. These notes indicate a modular, evolutionary acquisition strategy designed to leverage commonality across successive ship installations while maintaining the overall eight-year performance schedule. The schedule illustrates sequential and overlapping build cycles across multiple installation increments, suggesting a multi-ship modernization program for U.S. Navy sonar systems.
