About this file

This document is an administrative attachment to an Invitation for Bid (IFB 0000035451) issued by the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) for over bed tables. The solicitation seeks a vendor to supply and deliver over bed tables to the Yountville Home SNF facility, with delivery required on or before July 14, 2025 (no later than July 24, 2025). The contract involves unpacking, setting in place, and instructing agency personnel on the use of the equipment. Bidders must submit descriptive literature, demonstrate at least 12 months of continuous business experience, and provide detailed information about previous sales of similar over bed tables to comparable organizations.

The procurement requires new, defect-free equipment with manufacturer warranties, and includes a comprehensive acceptance and quality control process. If the delivered items fail to meet CalVet's specifications, the contractor must respond within specified timeframes to proposed corrective actions or risk contract termination. The vendor will be responsible for all material, labor, and transportation costs for repairs during the warranty period, and must have a warranty service provider capable of responding within one business day of a reported failure. The bid requires potential contractors to provide company experience documentation and a qualifying statement detailing similar sales within the past five years.
