The equipment is designed for theater operations with a smaller footprint capable of supporting multiple missions and various attachments.

Power, Performance, and Mechanical Requirements: The air compressor must produce and deliver 250 CFM maximum at 100 PSI continuously without degradation, powered by an industry-standard diesel engine capable of operating long-term on F24, JP8 (MIL-DTL-83133), and high-sulfur fuels without requiring aftertreatment or exhaust gas recirculation systems. Equipment weight must not exceed 13,500 lbs. The unit requires dimmable LED lighting with NATO plug 12/24 volt electrical system, a comprehensive safety package including high temperature and low oil pressure shutdown, and must function in operating temperatures from -25 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit with an engine coolant block heater. The equipment must sustain ten-hour continuous use cycles with two-hour breaks within a 24-hour operational period. The compressor includes pneumatic rubber tires with mounted spare, adjustable lunette ring for pintle hook towing, tongue jack, hand-operated parking brake, two 3/4-inch outlets, integrated toolbox, and two 50-foot hoses with quick couplers.

Military Modifications, Support, and Delivery Requirements: The equipment must comply with MIL-STD-209K transportation modifications including lift and tie-down provisions suitable for air transport via C-130, C-17, and C-5 aircraft without preparation, and must be transportable on 34-ton and 55-ton trailers at highway speeds up to 55 mph. Corrosion control requires lusterless OD Green 34064 polyurethane NON-CARC finish per FED-STD-595C with minimum 8 mils dry coating. A five-year total coverage warranty from acceptance is required, with the contractor as single point of contact for all warranty issues and no government costs for warranty claims. Technical support includes comprehensive parts manuals with Form/Fit/Function data per DODM 4140.26, operator and maintenance manuals in editable PDF and paper formats, spare parts inventory listing, and build sheets for each machine. Contractor shall provide all training materials and conduct operator and maintainer training for up to fifteen government personnel across three eight-hour days for operators and two eight-hour days for maintenance personnel. Shipping costs must be identified separately, with delivery to UIC N53210 (Assault Craft Unit ACU 2, Virginia Beach, VA), accompanied by DD Form 250 Material Inspection and Receiving Report and DD1342 Property Record.
