About this file

The attached document is a detailed Cleaning Matrix for the Gillette VA Primary Care Outpatient Clinic located at 604 Express Drive in Gillette, Wyoming. The matrix comprehensively outlines cleaning frequencies and specific tasks for various areas including general clinic spaces, offices/exam rooms, lobby, reception, lab, EKG and procedure rooms, restrooms, kitchen, and windows. Cleaning frequencies are categorized as daily, weekly, monthly (first Friday), quarterly, and semi-annually, with specific actions for each timeframe and location such as sanitizing surfaces, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and detailed cleaning of specialized areas like medical supply rooms and procedure spaces.

The cleaning requirements include meticulous attention to different surfaces and zones, with particular emphasis on patient care areas. Daily tasks involve trash removal, sanitizing chair arms, cleaning water fountains, and spot cleaning various surfaces. Weekly tasks expand to dusting areas not cleaned daily, including high and low areas. Monthly and quarterly tasks include more comprehensive cleaning like heating vent cleaning, computer tower maintenance, and wall dusting. Semi-annual tasks involve more intensive cleaning such as shampooing carpets, waxing/sealing floors, and moving equipment to clean behind and underneath. The matrix provides a structured, systematic approach to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the VA clinic environment.
