About this file
This document is an attachment to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the California Department of Social Services. The attachment outlines the certification requirements for vendors bidding on or renewing a California state contract valued at $1,000,000 or more. Vendors must certify they are not on the list of entities engaged in investment activities in Iran or demonstrate they have been exempted from this requirement. The RFP is for a contract to develop curriculum and provide training sessions to tribal Indian Child Welfare advocates to strengthen their courtroom advocacy skills.
The certification requires the vendor to provide their name, Federal ID number, and an authorized signature attesting they are not on the prohibited list or that they have obtained an exemption. Penalties are specified for providing false certifications. The contract term is not specified, but renewal options may be available.
