About this file

This document contains the technical specifications for a 20-Ton Industrial Water Chiller for a federal contract opportunity. The key requirements include:

The chiller must have a minimum cooling capacity of 20 tons or 239,756 BTUs per hour, operate using water as the medium, and have a minimum 55-gallon self-contained water tank. It must be designed for continuous usage within ambient temperatures of +14°F to +113°F, with a noise rating not to exceed 69 dB. The power supply must be 460V, 3-phase, 60Hz with a maximum of 60 full load amps. The system must fit within specified dimensions of 45" wide, 100" long, and 90" tall, with a dry weight not to exceed 2,660 lbs. The chiller must be self-contained on a movable skid/frame and only the power source and fluid connections can be disconnected for portability. Minimum clearance spacing of 6.5 feet on the sides and 10 feet on top is required.

The related federal contract opportunity is Solicitation Number FA910124IndustrialWaterChiller, a 20-Ton Industrial Water Chiller requirement from the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Test Center.
