The contractor shall provide a minimum two-year structural warranty covering frame and structural components, one-year warranty on factory-applied paint, and manufacturer's warranties on all purchased components including hydraulic system, axles, suspension, brakes, tires, and electrical systems. The period of performance is four months from contract award, with delivery to JBER at 7212 12th Street, Anchorage, Alaska 99506. The trailer must be fully assembled, serviced, inspected, and ready for immediate operation upon delivery. The contractor must coordinate delivery 48 hours in advance with the Government Points of Contact: Kevin McCasland (907-707-8301) and Rawlin Myers (907-791-0414). All listed specifications must be met and the trailer must pass inspection by refuge staff, with any deficiencies corrected by the contractor at no additional cost.

Supply Requirement
83" x 16' Telescoping Dump Trailer JBER – AFB - AF Wildland Fire Branch
7212 12th ST JBER, AK 99506
1. Purpose The purpose of this Statement of Work is to outline the requirements for the purchase of a dump trailer to support field operations, equipment transport, and habitat management activities at USWFS Air Force Wildland Fire Branch in JBER Alaska.
2. Scope of Work The contractor shall provide one (1) new dump trailer that meets or exceeds the specifications outlined below. The trailer will be used for transporting tools, equipment, and materials across varied terrain within refuge boundaries.
3. Specifications All products must meet standards greater than or equal to the specifications listed below.
Dimensions and Standard Options
• 83-inch wide × 16-foot long dump bed
• Minimum GVWR: 15,400 lbs
• Four (4) 235/80R16 Load Range E (10-ply) radial tires
• One (1) matching 235/80R16 Load Range E (10-ply) radial spare tire mounted on a matching steel wheel
• Four (4) heavy-duty welded D-rings, one located near each corner of the dump bed
• DOT-compliant LED lighting system
• Heavy-duty 8-inch I-Beam frame and tongue
• 10-gauge engineered steel floor
• 24-inch solid steel sides
• Adjustable 2-5/16-inch bumper-pull ball coupler
• One (1) 12,000 lb spring-loaded jack
• Two (2) 8,000 lb electric brake axles
• Heavy-duty leaf spring suspension
• Hydraulic telescopic hoist with one (1) 4.375-inch diameter × 120-inch telescopic hydraulic cylinder rated at
12 tons or higher
• Rear stabilizer: (2 each) drop leg
• Three-way spreader gate
• Two (2) 6-foot slide-in rear loading ramps
• Pull-back tarp system
• Electric brakes on both axles
• Breakaway brake system
• DOT-compliant safety chains
• Manufacturer-issued VIN plate
• FMVSS and DOT compliant
• Complete owner's manuals
• Warranty documentation
• All required safety decals
• Sealed wiring harness with standard 7-way RV plug
4. Warranty The trailer shall include, at a minimum:
• Two (2) year structural warranty covering the frame, tongue, crossmembers, subframe, side posts, fenders, and other structural components against defects in materials and workmanship.
• One (1) year warranty on the factory-applied paint finishes against defects in materials and workmanship.
• Manufacturer's warranty on all purchased components, including but not limited to the hydraulic system, axles, suspension, electric brakes, tires, wheels, coupler, jack, tarp system, LED lighting, and electrical wiring.
• All warranty documents shall be furnished to the Owner at the time of delivery.
5. Period of Performance The period of performance (POP) begins upon contract award and ends upon successful delivery and acceptance of the trailer. The POP for this project is four (4) months from the award date.
6. Acceptance Criteria The trailer must meet all listed specifications and pass inspection by refuge staff. Any deficiencies must be corrected by the contractor at no additional cost.
7. Delivery Location and Point of Contact Dealer shall deliver the trailer to the delivery location identified in the contract award. The contractor shall coordinate delivery with the Government Point of Contact 48 hours before delivery. The trailer shall be delivered fully assembled, serviced, inspected, and ready for immediate operation upon acceptance by the Government.
