Statement of Work (SOW)
Project: Ductless cooling system installation for basement IT room
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work: We require complete mechanical/electrical additions, refit of our server room, and installation of a dedicated ductless cooling system in the IT room in the basement of USDA Tree Research Lab Facility in Wenatchee WA.
2.0 Background: Our IT server room is located in a climate-controlled yet unfinished basement space. The server room contains critical equipment that generates heat.
The current climate-control system is inadequate to cool the server room and additional permanent cooling equipment is required. It was determined that a ductless cooling system would be most appropriate for the space. The room has no outside walls and is secured by a single door. Room dimensions are approximately seven feet by 12 feet (7’ x 12’).
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:
• Provision and installation of a 1.5-ton inverter drive condensing unit to be set on the roof on a stand.

• All Copper Line Set, Fittings, and insulation required for new, or replacement line set to connect Fan Coil and Condensing unit together.
• Condensate pump to remove evaporator condensate following the line set to the roof.
• Install to include a new cored hole in the concrete floor specifically for the line set and power to the roof.
• Roof penetration and small curbed snorkel for the exit onto the roof of the line set and power to the condensing unit. Patch and seal all penetrations of roof curb and membrane.
• Flush and test with high pressure nitrogen, double evacuation and charge with refrigerant.
• Electrical is required to provide line voltage circuits to the new system.
• Line voltage electrical permit is required to complete work.
• Proposal should include all cranes, lifts and other equipment for installation.
