Statement of Work

2 CS

Barksdale AFB

OBJECTIVE

1. Install turn-key Paxton Access Control System throughout the CCF as outlined below. All parts shall be new, used or refurbished strictly prohibited. Parts and pieces must be compatible with existing Paxton system.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Paxton certified installer with minimum 3-years’ experience.

2. Provide (3) references from recently completed similar jobs.

SCOPE OF WORK:

1. Install Paxton Access Control Units (ACU’s) and Net2 Plus POE keypads at door locations Indicated below.

2. Install door wrap or plates as needed.

3. Install new lever lock with new cores master keyed to existing system.

4. Remove existing mechanical hardware.

MATERIALS

1. Parts to be used:

2. Submittals required on all parts and pieces.

3. An area will be provided on or near work site as required to store contractors LOM.

SPECIFICS

1. Facility ceilings are suspended type.

2. No computers required.

3. No UPS’s required.

4. No CAD design required.

5. Bond & Insurance Per 2 CONS requirement.

INSTALLATION

1. Each ACU installation location shall be discussed and approved by SCOI prior to install.

2. Installation will be done in a neat and professional manner, to include but not limited to the use of mounting hardware and cable management.

3. Any damage to the facility caused by the contractor will be repaired per 2 CS in conjunction with

2 CONS

INSPECTION, TESTING and CERTIFICATION

1. Spot checks will be performed by SCOI on a daily basis.

2. Each install location will be tested by 2 CS to verify 100 percent serviceability.

WORKSITE LOCATION

1. Different Buildings located at Barksdale AFB, LA 71110

2. Contractor Working Days/Hours:

a. Normal duty time M-F, 0700-1630

b. Days and hours can be adjusted as required with prior approval from 2 CONS and 2 CS 48HRS prior to a proposed change.

2 CS Shall

1. Coordinate contractor base access as required to complete project.

2. Program network switch ports for connectivity and assign required IP’s.

PERMITS

1. No permits required for this project.

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

1. 2 CONS and contractor will determine award date based on the onsite start and completion date identified.

2. The facility beneficial occupancy date (BOD) and the dates above will be monitored monthly and any required adjustment will be coordinated with 2 CONS as necessary.

PAXTON Access Control System

1. General Requirements

1.1. Contractor will assemble/setup on site and will be responsible for all labor, transportation, materials, and equipment for the Paxton Net-2 system.

1.2. Contractor liable for any damage caused by or due to setup. To include building facilities.

1.3. Paxton must be compatible to existing Paxton Net-2 systems currently installed.

2.1. Install/provide all wiring to get from door(s) to building access node. Must be in conduit.
