About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for DLA Distribution Cherry Point, NC (DDCN) to repair a security screen at Building 147 Bay C.
The primary requirement is to remove and replace an inoperable rolling steel security screen with CAC access capability at Building 147 Bay C, west side with an identical replacement unit. The existing security screen is non-functional due to a broken solenoid and bearing. The contractor must provide all materials, labor, and material handling equipment (MHE) necessary to complete the removal, replacement, and disposal of the existing security screen. The work must minimize disruption to routine distribution functions at the facility. The Period of Performance is 6/15/2026 through 7/15/2026. The Contracting Officer (KO) or designee will conduct Government inspections and reviews to monitor contractor performance and serve as the point of final inspection and acceptance. This work was solicited because the existing Maintenance Services Contract (MSC) with MCAS Cherry Point has liability limitations that prevent the contractor from completing this repair.
