This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the total replacement of an electric steamer at Isleta Elementary School, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, under the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE).

The contractor shall remove the existing electric steamer and install a new commercial-grade boilerless electric convection steamer (AccuTemp Model E62083E100 SGL or approved equal) with a minimum capacity of six 12-inch by 20-inch by 2-1/2-inch deep pans. The equipment must operate at 208V, 60 Hz, 3-phase, 10 kW with a NEMA L15-30P plug and comply with commercial kitchen standards including UL listing, cULus, NSF/ANSI sanitation requirements, and ENERGY STAR efficiency standards when available. The project delivery period is sixty (60) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Key contractor responsibilities include: pre-installation coordination and field verification; protection of existing facilities during demolition and removal; safe disconnection and disposal of the existing steamer; installation of the new steamer including stand, pans, startup service, and all accessories; electrical work with verification of branch circuits and code compliance; plumbing and drainage connections; startup, testing, commissioning, and operator orientation; quality control and deficiency correction; and submission of closeout documentation including product data, warranty information, O&M manuals, startup/test checklists, and as-installed certification. The work must comply with applicable codes and standards including the National Electrical Code, International Mechanical Code, International Plumbing Code, OSHA requirements, NSF/ANSI sanitation standards, and the Indian Affairs Design Handbook for BIE School Facilities. The contractor shall provide a written workmanship warranty covering installation defects and manufacturer warranties for all equipment components, and must coordinate work hours with school maintenance personnel and BIE Facility Management to minimize disruption to school operations. Submittals required before ordering or installation include product data, field verification statements, installation plans/schedules, and safety plans; warranty documentation and startup/test checklists are due at closeout, along with O&M manuals and disposal documentation.
