About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) from the US Department of Agriculture for fire alarm system repair services at a USDA facility in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
The project requires a contractor to replace obsolete and malfunctioning fire alarm system components at the Supervisor's Office located at 900 Grand Avenue, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601. The existing system is currently connected to a monitoring service managed by Proguard Protective Services, but the remote synchronization connection has malfunctioned due to a broken motherboard component. The contractor must supply all equipment, labor, tools, and testing services to replace the discontinued main alarm panel, main level annunciator, smoke detectors, pull stations, and all signaling line circuit devices with manufacturer-approved, UL-listed replacements compatible with the existing fire alarm control panel. Installation services include removal of old components, installation of replacements, programming updates, device testing, and functional verification. All parts and installation workmanship must be warranted for a minimum of 12 months from acceptance.
Key deliverables include: (1) a list of compatible replacement components prior to contract award; (2) compatibility documentation prior to contract award; (3) installation and testing of new components prior to closeout; and (4) warranty documentation and manuals prior to closeout. The contractor must obtain necessary permits, comply with all facility safety rules and OSHA requirements, and submit itemized invoices through the USDA Invoice Processing Platform (www.ipp.gov) after work completion and inspection. Work acceptance is contingent upon all replacement parts functioning correctly, no remaining system failures, and approved warranty documentation submission.
