About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) and a related Federal Contract Opportunity for the procurement of smoke oil for the United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron (USAFADS).

The SOW describes the requirement for the contractor to deliver 55-gallon drums of specific brand name smoke oil to three locations: Nellis AFB, NV; Truth or Consequences, NM; and Edwards AFB, CA. The acceptable smoke oil brands are listed. The contractor must be available for contact 2 weeks prior to delivery, confirm delivery at each site, and ensure the materials are secure during transportation. The smoke oil will be inspected by the USAFADS at each site.

The Federal Contract Opportunity is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a firm-fixed price commercial item contract. It specifies the required quantities per location, delivery terms, and evaluation criteria. Quotes are due on November 20, 2024, and the contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quote.
