Statement of Work Service Contract for Spotlight 400 Microscope IR

GENERAL INFORMATION

1.0 Scope of Work: Contractor will supply a service plan for the Perkin Elmer Spotlight 400 Microscope Infrared.

2.0 Background: The Microscope provides important information to accomplish the project milestones. The complexity of the instrument would benefit from yearly preventive maintenance visits carried out by the original equipment manufacturer.

The intent is to award a contract of a Base Year plus 4 Option Years.

Base Year – 01/20/25-01/19/26 Option Year 1 – 01/20/26-01/19/27 Option Year 2 – 01/20/27-01/19/28 Option Year 3 – 01/20/28-01/19/29 Option Year 4 – 01/20/29-01/19/30

CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS

3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks

Service tasks include, but are not limited to:

· Shall include unlimited onsite service.

· Shall include 24-hour phone support for troubleshooting

· Shall include all repairs including parts, labor, travel and preventive maintenance kits during the period of performance.

· Shall include onsite response in two weeks or less to carry out corrective action.

· Shall include remote telephone support provided within 1 business day.

· Regarding equipment, all parts that need to be replaced will be 100% Original Equipment Manufacturing

· All service work will be carried out by Perkin Elmer.

· Shall perform one Preventative Maintenance visit during a 12-month period will be conducted at USDA by Perkin Elmer (coordinated by Service Plan Contractor).

· Contractor shall certify that the tasks will not void the original terms and conditions of the equipment.

4.0 Deliverables / Schedule:

· Shall perform one Preventative Maintenance visit during a 12 month period will be conducted at USDA by Perkin Elmer (coordinated by Service Plan Contractor).

· Preventative Maintenance visit shall take place no more than two months after request is made.

5.0 Contractor’s Key Personnel: Only factory trained technicians shall perform any service procedure on the Spotlight 400 Microscope Infrared.
