About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the procurement of open frame laboratory furniture and installation services at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Irish Hill test site in Poland, New York, effective June 5, 2026.

The contractor must furnish design services, delivery, labor, equipment, and materials to supply and install a modular, heavy-duty laboratory furniture system based on the Eaton/Wright Line LMS System. The scope encompasses three laboratories (Laboratory 007, Secure Lab 008, and Secure Lab 010) and includes developing detailed estimates with part numbers and descriptions. Key furniture specifications include 1-1/8" ESD thick worksurface tops (27" depth), cable management on all worksurfaces, single frame sections supporting up to 2,000 lbs of equipment, 12-gauge steel legs with levelers, frame-mounted 20 AMP power (daisy-chained with ceiling feed), ESD equipment shelves, LED task lights with motion detection on straight shelf lengths, grounding bars, locking box/box/file mobile pedestals, tambour door storage cabinets (quantity 5), and six work tables (30"d x 60"w) with ESD worksurfaces and locking casters. Frames must be 66"-72" high to avoid window interference, feature powder-coated steel finish, modular design for reconfiguration, and independent design allowing worksurface cantilever connections. All ESD surfaces must meet ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards. The contractor must provide finish catalogs, manufacturer data sheets, full shop drawings with electrical plans (requiring AFRL/RIOC approval before fabrication), lifetime structural warranty details, and cleaning/maintenance instructions. Installation must be performed by a manufacturer-approved installer according to manufacturer specifications, with coordination of all electrical and data components to MEP drawings. The contractor is responsible for furniture storage up to 60 days and must deliver to the first-floor work site without a loading dock available, leaving the site clean and orderly upon completion.
