The project involves furnishing, designing, and installing a complete surveillance system in Buildings 420 and 418, including microprocessor-based digital video recorders, cameras, monitors, enclosures, lenses, mounting hardware, cables, and associated equipment. The system must be compatible with the existing CCTV infrastructure and operate on the same encrypted frequency.
Key technical specifications include exterior cameras with an operating temperature range of -15F to 122F, a 32-inch Samsung TAA compliant display monitor in Building 420, and integration with the existing Fuels Service Center's uninterruptible power supply. The contractor is required to provide a comprehensive installation, including precise cable management, equipment mounting, system testing, and training for 5 LRS staff. The project also mandates strict adherence to base security regulations, with contractors needing to obtain necessary access passes and complete background checks. The installation must be completed with minimal disruption to base operations, following specific work schedules and coordinating closely with base personnel.
