STATEMENT OF NEED
Replace Constant Current Regulators, Bldg. 836
1. SCOPE. Provide all material, equipment and transportation required for the purchase and delivery of two Constant Current Regulators feeding airfield lights located at Columbus AFB, MS. Both units are required to be Eaton Crouse-Hinds products rated at 480 Volt, 30 kilowatt with an output of 6.6 Amperes. The first unit is required to be for a 3-step system to power the threshold lights on the inside runway. The second unit is required to be for a 5-step system powering the threshold lights on the outside runway.
2. REQUIREMENTS. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision needed to accomplish the tasks described in this statement of need. Under the provisions of the statement of work, the contractor shall accomplish the tasks described below.
3. DELIVERABLES & RESPONSIBILITIES. The contractor is responsible for the following:
• 82860PRL-480-30-3-P PRO PWR CCR (Qty. 1)
• 82860PRL-480-30-5-P PRO PWR CCR (Qty. 1)
• The contractor shall provide any manufacturer’s warranty to the Government.
The Government is responsible for the following:
• Coordinating base access privileges with the appropriate base-level authorities.
4. SCHEDULE. The contractor shall delivery as soon as possible to Columbus Air Force Base
