Statement of Need

Project Title: Spray Rig Purchase

1. Objectives:

Provide and deliver a new Spray Rig in accordance with the listed requirements below.

2. General Requirements:

Project includes, but is not limited to, the following work elements. The contractor shall furnish materials and incidentals. No alterations, additions, or deletions shall be made unless by prior approval of the government Project Manager and the government Procuring Contract Officer (PCO). The Contractor shall use SON requirements. Must be able to support Potassium Acetate type of deicer fluids and perform in temperatures of 30 below zero

3. Project Requirements

- The contractor shall procure and deliver a new Spray Rig with the minimum following characteristics or equal:

o Ice TAD 1100 o Tandem axle trailer with pintle hook.

o 50' manually folding booms o 3 way turret style spray nozzles on 30" centers o 1100 gallon Poly tank with UV protection.

o 300 gpm liquid pump o 16 HP gas engine o Cab Controlled functions start, stop, choke, high/low idle o Automatic spray rate control system o GPS ground speed sensor o Cab Controlled spray boom on/off 3 section Left, Center, Right o Pump station functions, load, unload, transfer, spray, recirculate

The contractor shall deliver the Spray Rig to Offutt AFB, 106 Peacekeeper Dr. Building 301.

The contractor shall provide a 1 year manufacturer warranty or greater on the equipment.
