About this file
The document is a detailed specification sheet for Cambium PTP 700 radios or equivalent wireless communication equipment for the Department of the Interior National Park Service Intermountain Region. The specifications outline comprehensive technical requirements for a high-performance wireless radio system, including frequency range (4.4 GHz to 5.9 GHz), extensive security features, and robust environmental capabilities.
Key technical specifications include a range up to 124 miles, 450Mbps throughput, support for up to 8 remote nodes, and advanced security protocols such as 128/256-bit AES encryption, HTTPS, and FIPS compliance. The radios must be ruggedized to MIL-STD-810G standards, with operational temperature range from -40° to +140° F, IP 66/67 hardened enclosure, wind speed survival up to 200 mph, and strict dimensional and weight constraints (not to exceed 12 lbs, 14.6" width, 16.9" height, 3.8" depth). The equipment is intended for a wireless link between Yell Lake and Washburn, with specific frequency authorization under Agency Serial Numbers 105141 and 105142.
