Attachment 1 Specifications

Animal Feed – Grade 2 Yellow Whole Corn Solicitation No. 12805B25Q0031

1.0 Technical Requirements

Corn - Cattle Feed Quantity: 5,800 bushels Required Minimum Specifications: Grade 2 Yellow Whole Corn, meeting the following minimum specifications:

• 15.0% moisture max, with no mold,

• Test Weight of 54 lbs./Bushel,

• Foreign Material - 3% max,

• Damaged kernels - 5% max,

• Head Damaged kernels .2% max

• Harvested in the 2023 or 2024 growing season,

• Corn shall be free of insects and insect damage,

• Corn shall contain minimal dust and cracking of kernels,

• Corn shall be delivered in hopper bottom trucks (no lifting required),

• A weigh slip from a certified scale must accompany each delivery. Weigh slips must show tare and gross weight.

• We reserve the right of refusal for not meeting the quality standards. Any poor quality or foul/musty smelling loads will be rejected.

2.0 Place of Performance

Delivery Address:

USDA ARS Range and Livestock Research Lab 243 Fort Keogh Road Miles City, MT 59301

Truck drivers will need to coordinate delivery to the facility during normal business hours (Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm). A weight slip from a certified scale must accompany each delivery. Weight slips must show tare and gross weight.

3.0 Period of Performance

Delivered in full no later than 13 December, 2024
