About this file

This document outlines the specifications for a lateral flow diagnostic assay development system sought by the US Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service through a solicitation. The system must include a dispensing module able to dispense liquids in dots or stripes from a 4 ml reservoir, a programmable strip cutter that can cut strips from 1mm to 609.6mm wide and 19.5mm to 101.6mm long with a 0.1mm tolerance, a laminator capable of laminating products up to 33cm long and 11.5cm wide with a membrane capacity of 33cm by 0.5 to 3.8cm and 0.25mm tolerance, and a multi cassette press to accommodate various cassette sizes with adjustable pressure and time. Related supplies such as lateral flow strips, replacement blades, tubing, cassettes, and lamination materials must also be provided. Each component requires a two year warranty.
