SPACE FORCE, VANDENBERG
LEAN LIFTS ANNUAL SERVICE
for the
30 LRS
Statement of Work 6 May 2025
1.0 BACKGROUND
Six 20 years old Lean Lifts have been used to service SFS and deployers. Currently, six lean lifts require service maintenance, and one is in need of immediate repair. These Lean Lifts are critical assets that support both our home defenders and deployed personnel in daily operations. Without our Lean Lifts, our logistics and readiness capabilities are severely compromised. If even one more lean lift were to become inoperable, 30 LRS would be forced to halt the mission entirely for both SFS and deployed forces. This is a risk we cannot afford to take, given our high operational tempo and mission-critical demands. 30 LRS must restore all Lean Lifts to full operational readiness and preserve mission continuity.
2.0 OBJECTIVES
To do preventive maintenance to all lean lifts.
To repair one lean lift to restore it to full functionality.
