This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for installing a backup generator at Building 1043 on Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. The project involves installing a new 50 kW, 208V standby generator with a 24-hour sub-base fuel tank, a new concrete pad, electrical grounding system, automatic transfer switch (ATS), and associated conductors and wiring. The work includes transferring computer room A/C conductors, removing existing electrical materials, and completing all necessary renovations to support the new generator system.

The project has a total performance period of 560 days, with key milestones including a 14-day contract award to Notice to Proceed (NTP) period, 365 days for construction submittals and permits, 70 days for generator materials lead time, and 60 days for demolition and construction. The estimated project magnitude is $250,000 - $500,000, and it will require various permits including welding, dig, landfill, and air quality permits. The contractor must comply with numerous Air Force, state, and federal regulations, provide warranty coverage, submit as-built drawings, and complete a DD Form 1354 for real property records.
